I’m the founder of Impressions Photography. I am a luxury editorial wedding photographer specializing in timeless, refined imagery that preserves your most cherished moments with elegance and artistry. Based in Canada, I blend fine art and storytelling to create photographs that feel effortlessly sophisticated and stand the test of time.
I absolutely LOVE telling LOVE stories with my photographs. It's my passion, my obsession, and my inspiration. I live in the beautiful Alberta, Canada, within easy reach of Rocky Mountains where I'm frequently found photographing weddings, engagements, editorials and being involved in all sorts of other creative assignments.
It is my passion as an artist and storyteller to create imagery that is emotive, vibrant and ultimately beautiful. My hope is that you will look back on those photographs later in life and feel that sweet sentiment as you smile reliving that special moment in your life.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Impressions by Mohit Photography! He shot our engagement pre-shoot in Vancouver as well as our destination wedding in LOS Cabos - Mexico, and I am beyond thrilled with the results. From the very first moment, Mohit made me feel like a bride in every sense of the word. He also has this incredible ability to make you feel so comfortable and confident while still capturing the most beautiful, artistic moments.
One of the highlights during our wedding week was a stunning photoshoot on the famous Cabo rocks. His creativity and attention to detail were unmatched, and I could tell he really understood what I was envisioning for our photos. He knew exactly how to guide my husband Akash and I with poses and made us feel like the best versions of ourselves.
I also had the dream of getting some shots at the nearby Nobu resort, but things weren’t going as planned. We weren’t technically allowed to shoot there, but Mohit and his team went above and beyond to make it happen! He actually vouched for us, worked his magic, and somehow got us in. It honestly felt like he was my fairy godmother, making sure I got every shot I wanted—even when it seemed impossible. That kind of dedication means everything!
What I loved the most is how versatile Mohit is—he delivered timeless, classic shots that will never go out of style, but also captured edgy, editorial looks with some modern elements. No matter the vibe, he nailed it every time.
Mohit is not only an amazing photographer but also a genuinely kind, accommodating person. He listened to all of my requests and was always so flexible, making sure we were having fun throughout the day. It felt more like working with a friend than a photographer.
I truly couldn’t recommend anyone better—he’s become like family to us now. Mohit did an incredible job capturing the essence of our special week. As someone who really values attention to detail, it was important for me to find a photographer who shared that same mindset. While Mohit’s photography skills speak for themselves, it was his natural ability to make us and our families feel completely at ease in front of the camera that set him apart. On multiple occasions, he went beyond the typical role of a photographer to help provide assistance in any way he could. For instance, during our wedding shoot, one of my Kaleere broke and Mohit immediately fixed it with a safety pin without me asking him to do so. During my Maiyan ceremony, my dad accidentally wore the wrong shoes. I vividly remember my dad glancing around, making eye contact with Mohit, and without exchanging any words, they quietly swapped shoes. One particular photo of my husband and I with my now late grandmother, smiling, has quickly become everyone’s favorite picture from the week. Thank you, Mohit, for capturing that meaningful moment. It has meant so much to us. We appreciate all your hard work, dedication, and guidance throughout the week.

If you are in the process of finding and booking vendors for your wedding, I know that it can be a difficult and time consuming process. Know that some vendors may disappoint you. Others may overcharge you relative to the services they provide. Mohit will do neither. Of all the vendors we hired, Mohit stood out through his exceptional service and the quality of his finished product.
Firstly, Mohit is simply great at what he does. For those like myself that are not models behind the camera, he provides substantial specific direction. His finished product not only made us look good, it truly captured the essence of the entire wedding and allowed us to vividly re-live such wonderful memories.
Secondly, Mohit is extremely passionate about his craft. You can tell he's not there as a hired gun simply to do the job. He truly loves it. For people that naturally enjoy being in front of the camera like my wife, Mohits passion adds significantly to the experience.
